At RJ Utility Services Ltd Health and Safety is paramount. The importance of good health and safety is evident to anyone who has seen the consequences of its failure. We have an experienced and highly qualified HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality & Environment) department dedicated to improving these areas within our business.
Our safety record is excellent and is still subject to continuous improvement. Our managers and leaders ensure a ‘safety first’ culture exists at all levels within the company.

Regular HSQE meetings are held and attended by all managers highlighting areas requiring additional focus. It is our policy to place Health & Safety as the first item on the agenda at every internal meeting thereby ensuring that it is treated with the priority it deserves.

Environmental

We operate in an industry that has a significant impact on the world around us, so it is essential we do our best to maintain an environmental responsibility, both corporately and individually, and to consult and develop acceptable sustainability practices.

From the planning stage through to completion our Environmental Policy is continually adhered to throughout a project’s lifespan.

Our Environment Management System, certified to ISO 14001, ensures we meet regulatory, contract and social obligations regarding our potential environmental impact. Environmental Management on each project is through the development of Environmental Plans, pollution prevention measures and Regular on-site inspections and audits.

Quality

RJ Utility Services quality management system is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. This means our company has implemented a quality management system and procedures which will lead to a continual improvement in our ability to meet, and hopefully exceed, our clients quality expectations and requirements. This is demonstrated in the number of repeat and long term clients held by our company.
